Privacy Policy

LCS does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.

By default your loyalty cards are stored on your device and nowhere else. You can optionally turn on iCloud backup, which copies them to your own private iCloud so they survive deleting the app. That copy belongs to you — it is readable only by you, and we have no access to it and no way to request it.

What LCS stores on your device

All of the following stays on your iPhone, and is copied to your private iCloud only if you turn on iCloud backup.

Your loyalty cards — the name you gave each card, its barcode number and format, a colour, its position in your list, and how often and how recently you have opened it. Stored in the app's private database.
Your sort preference — which ordering you last chose for the card list.
Your trial start date — a single date, kept in the device keychain so it survives reinstalling the app.

Camera

LCS asks for camera access so you can scan the barcode on a physical card. The camera is used only while the scanning screen is open. Images are processed on the device to read the barcode and are never saved, uploaded, or retained. If you decline camera access you can still type barcode numbers in by hand.

Purchases

LCS is free to use for 14 days, after which a one-time purchase unlocks adding further cards. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. LCS never sees your payment details, name, or email address — it only asks Apple whether this Apple Account has purchased the unlock, and receives yes or no.

Apple's own handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

What LCS does not do

No user accounts and nothing to sign in to
No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or advertising
No third-party SDKs of any kind
No tracking across apps or websites
No cloud sync or backup unless you switch it on yourself

Backups

If you have iCloud Backup or encrypted Finder backups enabled, your device backup may include the app's data, in the same way it includes other apps. That is handled by Apple and by your own device settings — LCS neither controls nor has access to it.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its database and every card in it. This is immediate and permanent, and there is no copy anywhere else for us to delete. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing to request access to or erasure of.

Children

LCS is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Any change that affected what the app stores would arrive with an app update, which you control.
